Fifty SIlver Coins! 05/05/2009

Went out for a quick hunt at lunch today, dug three targets. A screw cap and two silver dimes, 1934 and 1944.

After the previous day's hunt at the one spot where all I dug were the three silver coins, I'm beginning to think I have the Midas touch, only with silver!

Anyhow, the 1944 dime is silver coin #50 for this year (2 months hunting), which I consider a milestone. My goal last year was 50 and I surpassed that with 52, my 2009 goal is 100.

I'm Nick A. and I am a metal detector hobbyist in Central Ohio.  I have been metal detecting for 20 years, and currently use the Minelab E-Trac detector.

I am always happy to find silver coins (made before 1964) for my collection, as these are no longer in common circulation.
